Terms of Use
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of checknews.org (“CheckNews”), its API, its feeds and its MCP server. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
What CheckNews is
CheckNews is a tool that collects headlines published by news outlets in many countries, groups them into stories according to the event they cover, and shows how many different outlets cover each one. It always links to the original article. CheckNews is not a news outlet and does not write the news it shows.
Third-party content
Headlines, excerpts, images and videos belong to their respective outlets and authors. CheckNews shows them briefly, with their source and a link to the original, for information and reference purposes. The accuracy of each article is the responsibility of the outlet that published it. If you own the rights to a piece of content and want us to remove it, follow the procedure in Content and copyright.
AI translations and summaries
Headline translations and source summaries and comparisons are generated automatically with artificial intelligence and may contain errors or omissions. They are meant to help you get your bearings and do not replace reading the original articles. Do not use them as the sole basis for important decisions.
