Cookies
| cn_ui | Remembers the language of the interface (Spanish or English). Lasts one year. |
| cn_lang | Remembers the language headlines are translated into. Lasts one year. |
| cn_member | Keeps you signed in if you have an account. Lasts 90 days or until you sign out. It cannot be read by the page’s code. |
Browser local storage
In addition, the page stores the following in your browser (not on our servers, unless you have an account):
| Saved | The stories you bookmark. |
| Watchlist | The topics you follow and when you last checked them. |
| Views and dashboard | Your named views and the order, width and visibility of the home modules. |
| Preferences | Light or dark theme, card or table view, and your recent searches. |
| Previous visit | Only the date of your first visit, to count how many readers come back. It contains no identifier. |
| Offline copy | The app keeps the last pages and images you viewed so you can open them without internet. |
You can delete all of this from Preferences, with “Clear saved and watchlist”, or from your browser settings.
Third-party services
When fonts (Google Fonts), code libraries (unpkg, jsDelivr), YouTube videos or live TV streams load, your browser connects to those services, which may use their own cookies under their own policies. YouTube videos only load when you play them.
